I first learned to bake many years ago by helping my mother make banana bread, but it wasn't until 2012 (when I learned how to make red velvet cupcakes) that baking became one of my favorite hobbies. Through the years I've made everything from cupcakes to brownies to cookies to cream puffs, but my specialty are French macarons, which are my signature dish. I heard it was a challenging thing to make and I was determined to learn how. I enjoy exploring flavors, textures, shapes, and colors, and I love the smile on a person's face when they try my food.
